Price is the second question

The first question is whether the driver fits. A low price on the wrong loft, shaft, or head bias can cost more in lost confidence than it saves at checkout.

Best times to look

Driver prices often soften around model transitions, late-season clearances, and retailer promotions. The strongest deal is usually a previous-generation model with the right shaft still available.

When to wait

Wait if the deal forces a stiff shaft you do not load well, a loft that launches too low, or a draw-bias head when your miss is left. The discount does not fix poor fit.
